Constandina Koki

Dr. Constandina Koki is a Research Fellow at the Mathematics Institute, University of Warwick, supervised by Prof. Nigel Burroughs. She holds a PhD in Bayesian Statistics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, a MSc in Statistics and Operations Research, and a BSc in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research focuses on Bayesian statistical modeling across diverse domains, including computational cell biology (kinetochore dynamics during cell division), medical applications (predicting pregnancy outcomes and miscarriages), financial time series analysis (volatility modeling), and cryptocurrency price predictability using Hidden Markov Models. She has developed an online tool for personalized pregnancy success predictions, featured in media coverage. Koki has received the Best Paper Award at Decentralized 2019 for her work on cryptocurrency analysis. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges statistical theory with real-world applications in biology, finance, and policy.
