Connor Kenaston is an Assistant Professor of History and Ainsworth Scholar of American Culture at Randolph College. His research focuses on 20th-century U.S. history, particularly the intersection of religion, politics, and culture. He is currently working on a book titled "Spirit of Power: Radio, Religion, and the Sound of the American Century" that explores the religious history of radio broadcasting.

Kenaston’s scholarly work has appeared in Modern American History, Hybrid Pedagogy, Methodist Review, and other journals. His research is supported by grants from organizations such as the American Historical Association, American Jewish Historical Society, and Renate Voris Fellowship Foundation. He is an active member of professional societies, including the Organization of American Historians and the American Society of Church History.

As an educator, Kenaston has taught courses on U.S. and Atlantic history, including "History of Atlantic Capitalism" and "Queer American History." He served as advisor for Undergraduate Senior Capstones at Randolph College and contributed to digital humanities projects like Land and Legacy. Outside academia, he is involved in community initiatives such as the Multifaith Open Spiritual Atheist Inclusive Council and the #RandolphVotes Initiative.
