Congying Guan

Dr. Congying Guan is a Senior Lecturer in International Fashion Management at Nottingham Trent University's Nottingham School of Art & Design. She holds a PhD in Apparel Recommendation System from Northumbria University (2018) and a BA in Industrial Design from Southwest Jiaotong University, China (2008). Her research focuses on leveraging AI, big data, and digital technologies to innovate fashion retail and customer experiences. Key projects include enhancing online shopping experiences via emerging technologies and applying virtual reality to fashion education.

Research Interests: Digital Fashion Technology, Fashion Recommendation Systems, Online Customer Experience Design, and AI-driven Design Innovation. Recent projects include evaluating immersive online shopping frameworks and upcycled fashion brand strategies.
