Comfort Azubuko-Udah

Comfort Azubuko-Udah is an Assistant Professor of English and African Studies at the University of Toronto (Downtown Toronto campus). Their research focuses on African and Caribbean literature, postcolonial studies, environmental humanities, and urban narratives. They hold a PhD from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), preceded by a MA and BA from UCLA and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Research Interests: Urban Humanities, Narrative Theory, and the intersection of environmental and postcolonial critiques. Their work explores literary representations of cities like Abuja and diasporic experiences.

Publications include studies on Nigerian urban imagery and transnational literary themes. Office hours are Wednesdays 3PM-5PM via Zoom.
