Professor Colm Durkan is the Professor of Nanoengineering Science and Head of the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on scanning probe microscopy (SPM), quantum electrical transport, and nanoscale materials characterization, with applications in energy transition technologies.
