Colleen Winters

Colleen Winters is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Towson University. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences-Cancer Biology from Mayo Clinic and Foundation, an M.S. in Zoology from Oklahoma State University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton.

Her research examines genetic diversity in species including Gopher Tortoises and land snails (Ventridens ligera) across different ecosystems. Her publications focus on population genetics and ecological adaptations.
