Colleen Murphy

Dr. Colleen Murphy is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Medicine and the Division of Neurology at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). She joined the Vancouver Stroke Program in 2003 and has held leadership roles in resident education, including appointments to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) Examination Board and Specialty Committee.

Her research interests focus on stroke care, clinical neurophysiology, and medical education, particularly in training neurology residents. Dr. Murphy is actively involved in the RCPSC Specialty Committee as a Regional Representative and former Vice Chair, shaping national standards for neurology education and certification.
