Colleen Hergott is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the College of Allied Health Sciences at Augusta University. She holds a DPT in Physical Therapy from Baylor University (2009), a MED in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Texas - Austin (1996), and a BA in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Texas - Austin (1988).
Her research focuses on physical therapy interventions for aging populations, particularly in fall prevention, cognitive function improvement through exercise, and community-based health promotion programs. She has developed modified clinical tools like the TUG-10 for aerobic assessment in older adults.
