Colin Read is a Professor of Economics & Finance at SUNY Plattsburgh’s School of Business & Economics, where he has taught environmental economics, sustainability, money and banking, and the history of economic and finance thought for over 35 years. He also serves as an independent director and financial expert on the board of a NASDAQ-traded public holding company encompassing banks and insurance companies, following prior board service at a bank. Additionally, he served as mayor of the City of Plattsburgh and on the county legislature.
