Colin Mills

Colin Mills is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College. His work focuses on social inequality, social mobility, and quantitative social research.

• Supervision: Quantitative work in social stratification, demography, employment sociology
• Geographic scope: UK-centric, with openness to Anglophone countries, Germany, France, Sweden

Research Interests include:

• Social stratification and class dynamics
• Intergenerational mobility and demographic factors
• Quantitative methodology (not methodological innovation)
