Colin Crawford serves as Dean and Professor of Law at the William H. Bowen School of Law, appointed in July 2023. He previously held deanship roles at law schools in Louisville, Kentucky, and San Francisco, California. Prior to academia, he was a tenured faculty member at Tulane University, where he held the Robert C. Cudd Professorship of Environmental Law and directed the Payson Center for International Development. At Georgia State University College of Law, he founded the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth and secured a USAID grant to enhance environmental law education in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Research & Teaching: Focuses on environmental and land use justice with a comparative/international lens.
