Clément Sanchez

Clément Sanchez is a renowned Professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie and the Collège de France in Paris. Specializing in chimie douce (gentle chemistry), his research focuses on organic-inorganic hybrid materials, inorganic/organic chemistry interfaces, and sustainable applications in catalysis, coatings, optics, and waste recycling. He has published over 550 articles, holds 72 patents, and pioneered environmentally friendly synthesis methods.

He served as the 19th Chair of Chemistry of Hybrid Materials at Collège de France (2011–2020), a prestigious role among Nobel laureate-affiliated institutions.
