Clement Fatovic

Clement Fatovic is Professor of Political Science at Florida International University's Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. His research focuses on constitutional theory, executive power, and American political thought from the Founding era.

Fatovic has authored three books examining emergency powers, constitutional limitations on executive authority, and economic inequality debates during America's founding period. His work appears in American Political Science Review and Perspectives on Politics.

Research Focus: Tensions between rule of law and executive discretion in contexts of emergency, with historical analysis of liberal constitutional thought from Locke to contemporary presidencies.
