Claudio Consuegra is the Director of Family Ministries for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists and an adjunct professor in the Family Ministry concentration within the Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andrews University, a master’s in counseling psychology from Radford University, and a bachelor’s in theology from Washington Adventist University.
His career spans roles as a pastor, law enforcement chaplain (CMC), and critical stress management specialist, including deployments at Ground Zero post-9/11 and after the 2007 Minneapolis bridge collapse. He has also served as Vice President for Administration for the Minnesota Conference and co-hosted a national call-in talk show on LifeTalk Radio.
As an educator, he contributes to the Doctor of Ministry program at Andrews University, focusing on family ministries. His professional work integrates theology, counseling, and crisis response.
