Claudio Calosi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Geneva, Department of Philosophy, and a faculty member at the Faculty of Theology of Lugano, University of Italian Switzerland (USI). His research focuses on the application of formal methods to philosophical issues.
His primary research interests include Metaphysics, Philosophy of Physics, and Philosophy of Literature. He employs formal tools such as mereology, topology, and plural logic to address problems of identity, composition, dependence, and fundamentality. Recently, he has also been exploring intersections between philosophy and literature.
Calosi is the Principal Investigator of a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) funded project titled "Metaphysics of Quantum Objects".
