Claudia Han

Claudia Han, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. She leads the Han Lab within the Center for Brain Immunology and Glia, focusing on brain macrophage biology and neuroimmune mechanisms.

• Education: BA in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, PhD from University of Virginia School of Medicine

Research Interests: Dr. Han investigates the molecular mechanisms governing brain macrophage specification and function in neuropathological contexts. Her work integrates:

• Genomic approaches to uncover transcriptional regulators
• Stem cell modeling for neuroimmune studies
• Genetic mouse models to dissect cellular interactions
• Computational frameworks like TIANA for regulatory analysis
