Dr. Claudia Gerling is a Lecturer and Research Assistant at the University of Basel's Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences, Department of Environmental Sciences, specifically within the Integrative Biology research group. She also serves as a Scientific Associate at FG Schünemann. Her academic work focuses on environmental archaeology, isotope analysis, and ancient history, with particular emphasis on human mobility, settlement patterns, and cultural adaptation in historical contexts.
