Claudia Fabris

Claudia Fabris is a Research Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo (UiO), affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Her research focuses on catalytic performance of zeolites and circular economy, particularly investigating zeolite deactivation in plastic waste depolymerization. She is a PhD candidate in the CompSci program, combining computational science with experimental catalysis.

Education: M.Sc. in Materials & Production Engineering (Energy, Environment, Sustainable Development) from the University of Trento (2018-2021), and B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering (2014-2018). She participated in an Erasmus+ program at NTNU, Trondheim (2019).

Research Groups: Catalysis and Organic Chemistry. Projects include CompSci, an EU Horizon 2020-funded doctoral program (MSCA COFUND Grant #945371). Her work integrates operando studies of porous catalysts and reaction mechanisms.

Publications: Recent article (2024) explores CO2 hydrogenation processes using MAPO-18 zeotypes, emphasizing heteroatom roles. This reflects her interdisciplinary approach blending catalysis, materials science, and environmental applications.
