Clara Chepkirui

Dr. Clara Chepkirui is a research scientist at the Institute of Food Chemistry, part of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Leibniz University Hannover.

Her research focuses on microbial natural products, particularly polyketides, ribosomally derived peptides, and terpenoids from fungi and bacterial symbionts. Key areas include antimicrobial discovery, polyketide synthase engineering, and bioactive compound characterization.
