Claire Vincent is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne's School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Her research focuses on tropical weather and climate variability, extreme rainfall patterns, and renewable energy resource dynamics, particularly examining interactions between different scales of weather-climate variability.
Dr. Vincent earned her PhD at the Technical University of Denmark (2010), where she studied mesoscale wind resource variability. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a forecaster and mesoscale wind verification specialist at Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
