Claire Pike

Claire Pike is a Professor and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education Enhancement) at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). She leads initiatives in curriculum development, academic quality, and student experience across diverse disciplines. Her expertise spans education enhancement, biomedical sciences, and research supervision.

• PhD in Epigenetics and Transcriptional Control from University of Cambridge
• MSc in Biochemistry from University of Cambridge
• BSc in Natural Sciences from University of Cambridge

Research Interests: Claire investigates epigenetic regulation of gene expression, breast cancer genetics (focusing on identifying tumorigenesis drivers in genetically dissimilar cases), molecular mechanisms of chemotherapeutic drug resistance, and educational pedagogies for diverse student populations. She also explores diversity and inclusion in STEM education to address systemic talent gaps.
