Claire Mummé

Claire Mummé is an Assistant Professor at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, joining in 2013. She holds a Ph.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, an LL.M. from New York University, an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Toronto. Her research examines law's distributional effects and institutional structuring of markets, particularly through the lens of employment law, labour law, and human rights law. Current research focuses on legal regulation of supply chains and labor organizing, as well as post-Fordist era work dynamics.

Professor Mummé teaches Contracts, Labour Law, and Employment Law. She has been recognized as a SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholar and a McMurtry Fellow of the Osgoode Legal History Society. Her work bridges theoretical and applied legal scholarship, addressing evolving labor practices and systemic inequalities.
