Claire Loder

Claire Loder is a Lecturer at the Bath School of Art, Film and Media, serving as Programme Leader for MA Fine Art and Pathway Leader for MA Fine Art (Ceramics). She also teaches on the Integrated Foundation in Art and Design.

Her 2013 publication The New Ceramics - Sculpting and Handbuilding explores technical and creative aspects of clay work. Claire's practice combines tactile materiality with photographic documentation to examine raw clay properties.

Current work investigates intersections between creative expertise, horticulture, and community engagement through socially driven art projects.
