Claire Donohue

Claire Donohue serves as Associate Dean for Experiential Learning and Clinical Associate Professor at Boston College Law School. She joined BC Law in 2018, bringing expertise in integrating social work methodology with legal practice. Her academic focus includes family law, domestic violence intervention, and clinical pedagogy.

Education includes a B.S. from Cornell University, J.D. and M.S.W. from Boston College, and LL.M. from George Washington University. Previous roles include directing the Domestic Violence Clinic at American University, serving as Friedman Fellow at GW Law, and working as a public defender in Massachusetts.

Donohue coordinates social work services within the Center for Experiential Learning and founded interdisciplinary legal service programs. She has published on high-conflict parenting education and teaches Family Justice Litigation Clinic, developing innovative models for client representation.
