About
Ciro Riccio is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook University. His research focuses on neutrino physics, particularly neutrino oscillations and cross-sections, with applications to understanding matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe.
Research interests include neutrino oscillations, neutrino-nucleus cross-sections, physics beyond the standard model, statistical data analysis, and novel detection technologies. Current experiments include T2K and DUNE long-baseline neutrino oscillation studies.
Supervises graduate students working on neutrino detection and analysis techniques. The research group contributes to international collaborations including the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE).
