Cindy Wingert

Cindy Wingert serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Physician Assistant Studies at Lipscomb University, bringing over 17 years of teaching experience from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Her role centers on foundational medical sciences instruction for physician assistant students.

Her academic credentials include:

• MS in Anatomy
• BA in Biology

Dr. Wingert specializes in human gross anatomy education with extensive expertise in human physiology and pathophysiology. As an active leader in the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS), she served six years as Cadaver Use Committee Chair and currently holds the Steering Committee Chair position, shaping national curriculum standards through the Curriculum and Instruction Committee.

She engages in community service with Barefoot Republic Camp and enjoys gardening and family game nights outside academia.
