Cindy Miller

Cindy Miller is a Lecturer in Radiology & Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. She transitioned from pediatric imaging to adult thoracic imaging, focusing on congenital malformations in adulthood and diseases traditionally seen in children but now observed in adults. Her research addresses sickle cell disease and cystic fibrosis imaging, including acute chest syndrome characteristics and coexisting pathologies. She is also involved in medical education, developing curricula for chronic disease care and disability.

Research Interests: Congenital anomalies in adulthood, sickle cell disease imaging, cystic fibrosis imaging, pediatric radiology, multidetector CT, and transcranial Doppler ultrasonography.

She contributes to Yale Cancer Center and maintains active roles in journal reviewing and CME curriculum development. Her clinical practice spans over three decades with a focus on bridging pediatric and adult imaging challenges.
