Ciara Weets is a Senior Research Associate and Project Manager at Georgetown University's Center for Global Health Science and Security. Her research examines interactions between health policy, environmental change, and infectious disease dynamics.
Focus areas include antimicrobial resistance, vaccination policies, climate change impacts on health, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene interventions. She develops analytical frameworks to evaluate global health policies and their implementation.
Recent publications analyze childhood vaccination laws worldwide, outbreak reporting systems, and environmental drivers of pandemics. Work appears in BMJ Global Health, PLOS Global Public Health, and other policy journals.
