Cian Bear is a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick (2023-2027) and an Associate Tutor. His research focuses on the colonial roots of political violence in contemporary conflicts, using discourse and archival analysis to explore how structures of capitalist colonialism shape global political dynamics. He is supervised by Charlotte Heath-Kelly and Mouzayian Khalil.
