Chumie Juni

Chumie Juni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Religion at Carleton College, where she has taught since 2021. She holds an MA and PhD from Brown University. Her academic focus spans Judaism, comparative religious studies, and socio-legal aspects of religion, with courses exploring themes like religious embodiment, food practices, and American Jewish identity.

Research Interests: Professor Juni's work engages interdisciplinary topics, including:
