Chuan Meng

Chuan Meng is a researcher transitioning to a postdoctoral position at the University of Edinburgh's Natural Language Processing Group in September 2025. He obtained his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in June 2025, supervised by Maarten de Rijke and Mohammad Aliannejadi. His research focuses on Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing with Large Language Models, particularly in conversational agents, model/data-efficient neural ranking, and automatic evaluation techniques like query performance prediction.
