Chrysalis Hyon

Chrysalis Hyon is an Adjunct Faculty member in the East-West Psychology program at the School of Consciousness and Transformation, California Institute of Integral Studies. She teaches research methodologies and provides private consultations for professionals and academic doctoral clients.

• Ph.D. in East-West Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies (2022)
• M.A. in Jurisprudence and Social Policy from University of California, Berkeley

Her research focuses on intersectional cumulative trauma for multiply marginalized persons of color in Western contexts, combined with embodied, creative pedagogical approaches to foster critical liberatory awareness in integral education. She integrates her five-year fellowship at the Center for Writing and Scholarship with coaching training to develop interactive engagement strategies for graduate students.
