Christy Foley is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Central Florida's Department of Legal Studies, within the College of Community Innovation and Education. She specializes in transactional small business law, entertainment law, and mediator ethics. Dr. Foley holds Florida Supreme Court certification as an appellate, circuit civil, and county court mediator, and is a pioneer in e-mediation. She previously taught law at Full Sail University for over a decade, where she received a 'Peers Recognizing Other Peers' award for dedication to teaching.
Dr. Foley actively serves in leadership roles within the Florida Bar, including as an officer in both the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and the Entertainment & Sports Law Section. She chaired Florida’s Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee, solidifying her influence in professional ethics standards.
Education: J.D. (cum laude) from City University of New York School of Law.
