Christy Doon

Christy Doon is a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the University of Colorado Denver. She also serves as the Regional Manager for the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) in South Central Colorado, a role she has held since 2012. Additionally, she teaches Human Resource Management and Leadership Development in the MPA program at Adams State University.

In her capacity at DOLA, Christy provides technical assistance to local communities, acts as a liaison between local/state/federal governments, and manages the Cathy Shipley Best and Brightest Internship Program. Her research interests span public administration, government policy, and community development.
