Christos Varsamis

Dr. Christos Varsamis is a Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He specializes in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, focusing on seismic protection devices, optimal design of reinforced concrete structures, and performance-based assessment of structures. His academic journey includes a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh, Greece), an M.S. in Earthquake Engineering and Seismic Design, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from RPI (2021).
