Christos Dimopoulos

Christos Dimopoulos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the European University of Cyprus. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Control Systems from the University of Sheffield (2001) and has held academic positions since 2002, including roles at Cyprus College and the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus. His research focuses on manufacturing optimization, evolutionary algorithms, occupational safety, and educational technology. He has led or participated in multiple EU-funded projects, such as DataPro, SAFED, and EL-STEM, addressing data protection, fire safety training, and STEM education innovation.
