Christopher W. Hess, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology, Immunology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He serves as Fellowship Director and directs the Veterans Administration Parkinson’s Disease Consortium Center at the North Florida/South Georgia VA Medical Center. His roles combine clinical practice, research, and leadership in movement disorder studies.
Education: Completed his M.D. at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (2006) and a BA in Psychology with Honors in Biopsychology from William Paterson University (2001). Advanced training includes neurology residency and chief residency at Columbia University Medical Center, followed by a movement disorders fellowship under Dr. Stanley Fahn, with specialization in neurophysiology and deep brain stimulation.
