Christopher Vardy

Christopher Vardy is a Lecturer in 20th Century English Literature at the University of Manchester, where he rejoined in September 2023 after three years at Durham University. His research explores contemporary historical fiction, focusing on the 1980s neoliberal transition in Britain and conceptualizations of prehistory in 21st-century culture.
