Christopher Vale

Prof Christopher Vale is an Adjunct Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, specializing in ultracold quantum gases. He holds a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Physics from Victoria University (2001). His career includes roles as Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Sussex (2000–2002), Research Fellow at the University of Queensland (2003–2006), and Senior Research Fellow/ARC Future Fellow at Swinburne (2007–present).

Research focuses on ultracold atoms, particularly lithium-6 Fermi gases and dipolar dysprosium gases. Key areas include:
