Christopher Tipping

Christopher Tipping is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Biology at Delaware Valley University, with a focus on invasive insects in Pennsylvania. His research spans entomology, nematology, biological control, and taxonomy, including work on plant disease vectors and urban entomology.

He actively contributes to academic administration, serving as former Department Chair of Plant Science and Interim Dean of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Dr. Tipping co-advises the Apiary Society, coaches softball, and participates in state-level committees including the Pesticide Advisory Board and Industrial Hemp Steering Committee.
