Christopher Stavisky is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of the Occupational Therapy Program at the University at Buffalo. He also serves as Director of the Rehabilitation Science MS Program within the School of Public Health and Health Professions. His research focuses on cognitive rehabilitation, human motivation in healthcare/educational contexts, acquired brain injury, and adaptive sports. Previously, he worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center as an occupational therapist and staff developer, with over 15 years of experience coaching adaptive sports through the Rochester Rookies program. He teaches courses in cognitive rehabilitation, kinesiology, medical conditions, pain management, and orthotics/prosthetics.
