Christopher Schroeder

Christopher Schroeder is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Geography and the Environment at Texas Tech University. He holds a B.A. in Geography from Bowling Green State University, an M.A. from the University of Toledo, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. As Undergraduate Program Director, he oversees academic and curricular affairs in the geography program.

His research focuses on urban geography, examining how social groups construct communities and the dynamics of inclusion/exclusion in urban nature spaces. He teaches courses such as Introduction to Human Geography, Regional Geography of the World, and Seminar in Geography.
