Christopher Satow

Christopher Satow is a Lecturer in Physical Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London, researching connections between volcanic systems and climate change. His work utilizes volcanic ash layers in marine and lake sediments to reconstruct eruption histories and date environmental change proxies.

Recent publications examine how sea-level changes influence Santorini's eruptive activity and Mediterranean tephra records.
