Dr. Christopher Paul is a tenured Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Public Administration at North Carolina Central University (NCCU), where he leads health policy specializations in the M.P.A. program—the second largest in North Carolina and largest at any HBCU. He teaches core courses in leadership, public policy, research methods, and public health advocacy.
His educational background includes a Ph.D. from Duke University's joint program between the Sanford School of Public Policy and Nicholas School of the Environment, where he was an inaugural Global Health Institute Doctoral Scholar. His research spans environmental policy, social capital, public health, and development, employing methodologies like GIS and spatial analysis to examine health disparities and climate adaptation.
