Dr. Christopher McVey is Senior Lecturer in the Writing Program at Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences. He also serves as Kilachand Studio Coordinator at Kilachand Honors College.
Research focuses on twentieth-century literary modernism, contemporary poetry, and dystopian fiction, with special expertise in T.S. Eliot studies. Current projects examine the evolving relationship between humanity and technology in dystopian narratives.
Publications include significant contributions to Eliot scholarship, particularly on affective dimensions of modernist poetry and global modernist networks. Recent work has expanded to include computational approaches to literary analysis and requirements engineering in software development.
Dr. McVey maintains active involvement in the International T.S. Eliot Society and has organized conference sessions on Eliot's literary intersections and influence. His interdisciplinary work bridges literary studies and software engineering methodologies.
