Christopher McCormack

Christopher McCormack is a Clinical Tutor at the Oxford Institute of Clinical Psychology Training & Research (OXICPTR), joining in March 2024. He is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), Associate Fellow of the BPS, and holds multiple clinical registrations, including as a Clinical Psychologist (HCPC) and Psychosexual Therapist (COSRT).

Education:

• MSc in Health Psychology, University College London (UCL)
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, University of Essex
• Diploma in Clinical Sexology, CICS
• Pursuing postgraduate qualification in Clinical and Medical Education
• Completing CBT accreditation training

His specialist interests include compulsive sexual behaviors, ChemSex, and anxiety disorders affecting gay and bisexual men, particularly HIV health anxiety. Prior to his current role, he led the high-risk sexual behavior and ChemSex pathway at the Royal London Hospital.
