Christopher Kopper is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at Bielefeld University's Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology. His academic career spans over three decades with significant contributions to economic history, banking history, and transport history. Appointed as an extraordinary professor at Bielefeld University in April 2012, he has held various research and teaching positions including visiting professorships at Charles University in Prague, University of Siegen, University of Münster, and West Virginia University.
