About
Dr. Christopher Kim is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Howard University's College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from SUNY Stony Brook (2013), M.S. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Chicago (2007), and B.S. in Mathematics and Engineering from Cornell University (2004). His interdisciplinary research bridges computational neuroscience, machine learning, and applied mathematics.
Recent work explores neural dynamics in learning processes, cortical network distributions, and scalable algorithms for spiking neural networks. His research develops computational models to understand brain functioning and improve neural network architectures.
