Christopher Hathaway

Christopher Hathaway is Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he conducts the Concert Choir, Treble Chorus, and Choral Union. He teaches choral conducting, techniques, and methods, and supervises undergraduate music education students.

His research focuses on themes of social justice in choral music, particularly examining the works of composers like Jake Runestad. Prior to his academic career, he served as a choir director in Michigan public schools where his ensembles consistently achieved top ratings.
