Christopher Gregg is an Associate Professor (Teaching) of Computer Science at Stanford University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia (2012), an M.Ed. in Education (Physics) from Harvard University (2002), and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University (1994). His research interests span computer architecture, particularly general-purpose computing on GPUs, and the pedagogy of computer science education.
Before joining Stanford, he taught at Tufts University and high schools in Massachusetts and California. He has served in the U.S. Navy for seven years and remains a Commander in the Navy Reserves, focusing on Information Warfare / Cryptology.
